Ginny Weds Sunny Torrent HD Download TamilRockers MovieRulz: Desperate to marry a simpleton with no romantic history, Sunshine (Vikrant Massey) is guided by her matchmaker mother Shobha aunty (Ayesha Raza) towards a former, out of his league crush Ginny (Yami Gautam). For her, emotionally inaccessible, confused daughter, Mama wants a seedha saadha, doodh ka dhula jamai. Can this unlikely romance be orchestrated by the mother?

Review:

It was more enjoyable and interesting to watch than all the stereotypical Punjabi characters put together in this puttar-paneer movie, speaking of arranged marriages, meme material Seema Taparia aka Seema aunty of Netflix's very own reality show 'Indian Matchmaking'

The plot is as predictable as most generic romantic comedies, and the title happily offers the climax even though you'd like to think it's not. Given the genre, an Agatha Christie mystery is not anticipated anyway, provided the events leading up to the wedding are fun. That's not the case, though, either. In this manipulative rom-com, there is no passion or humor. The writing lacks depth and does not stir feelings. With better performances, it's as moving or not (pun intended) as Veere Di Wedding, of course.

In Basu Chatterjee's iconic Chhoti Si Baat, Ashok Kumar thinks that the girl's mother doubles as a love guru for Sunny. She's gotta help him woo Ginny. The third wheel here, like Asrani, is Ginny's ex-boyfriend-turned-good friend, Delhi Ka Richie Rich-Nishant (Suhail Nayyar). The two are bitten by the greatest glorified dilemma of our century — misunderstanding. They are confused about their relationship status, and in Ginny's life, Sunny is confused about where he stands.

Nishant is uncompromising with Ginny and Ginny is uncompromising with Sunny. You're confused about the point of the movie, despite knowing where it's all heading, but Yami Gautam, Vikrant Massey, and Ayesha Raza keep you somewhat hopeful.

In particular, Yami has consistently shown that she is an earnest actress who can blend herself into any role she chooses. Yami is successful as a headstrong girl next door who is too proud to seem emotionally weak, or to admit that she can misjudge individuals. Vikrant Massey is able to make his characters look relatable. He also does that here, but he feels a tad out of place in the song and dance of the Kartik Aaryan meets the losing character territory of Ayushmann Khurrana. A few punches of comedy land well. For example, if she'kohpies his accent 'is funny, Nishant asks Ginny not to make fun of his' regional feelings '. But those lines are uncommon.

Ginny Weds Sunny does not offer an insightful perspective on arranged marriages, nor is it a spinning triangle of quirky love. In this film, the most attractive thing are the mouthwatering garam samosas that are served to one and all. Sadly, the film is not a samosa but a confused chivda diet wala, low in salt.
