The film starts with Sona Mukherjee (Jacqueline Fernandez) having a video call together with her husband Mrityunjoy Mukherjee (Joy, Manoj Bajpayee) when Sona tells Joy that she is pregnant.

Right after the video call, inspector Imran Shahid (Mohit Raina), who is additionally the ex-boyfriend of Sona, visits her house to gather evidence against Joy during a serial killing case. Sona, however, thinks Shahid is simply trying to border Joy to require revenge for removing his love.
